Whilst Shetland is the smallest of our cottages it still provides spacious accommodation and is ideal for that romantic time away. The cottage is accessed through a traditional stable door, has lovely wooden floors, gabled ceilings and a wealth of original features. During the winter months the underfloor heating keeps the cottage warm and cozy. The modern kitchen features a traditional Belfast sink, electric oven and gas hob together with a good size refrigerator. The tiled bathroom has a modern bath with shower over and an oversize washbasin. The bedroom has large Oak double bed, ample wardrobe space, as well as a modern TV. The lounge diner also has a modern TV, as well as a sofa that can be used as a second pull out bed if necessary and a small dining table. Outside, the south and west facing front courtyard is large and provides privacy for Al Fresco eating and has a modern gas fired BBQ for the lovely summer evenings. All linen including towels is supplied.
The middle sized cottage again features modern kitchen lounge diner, bathroom and bedroom. The spacious bedroom has a large oak framed double bed, large wardrobe and dressing table, and FreeSat TV. The bedroom has a traditional stable door to the rear patio that has lovely views over the paddocks where you can watch the horses. Bertie, the resident Buzzard, often calls as he glides over the ground, or the Canada Geese may perform one of their dusk fly overs using the yard as a turning point. The front courtyard has ample sitting space for Al fresco dining and a modern gas fired BBQ is provided. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and large wash basin with ample surrounding storage. The open plan kitchen lounge has a large Belfast sink, modern appliances and is accessed from the front courtyard by a traditional stable door. A Freesat TV is supplied along with WiFi. A sofa bed can be used as a second bed if required. The cottage has retained traditional features throughout and has beautiful gabled ceilings and beams along with exposed original brickwork. Underfloor heating keeps the cottage cozy throughout the winter. All linen including towels is supplied.
Dartmoor has been designed to be easy access and is ideal for those with mobility concerns. Wide doors, large bathroom and walk in shower help to make life just that little bit easier. The open plan kitchen lounge diner is accessed from the front courtyard by a traditional stable door and is bright and spacious with original brick facing feature wall. The well equipped kitchen has views over the paddocks whilst the lounge looks out over the front courtyard. A sofa can be used as pull out bed and there is an easily accessible dining table. A wide hallway leads to the shower room that has a large glass sided walk in shower and is wheelchair friendly. The large bedroom has an Oak framed double bed, large wardrobe and dressing table and Freesat TV. WiFi is throughout the cottage. A traditional stable door provides access to the south and west facing rear patio which is a suntrap and ideal for whiling away sunny afternoons and summer evenings.
